How I got into Graphic Design
This is a hobby I started with which someone inspired me to do. My mother is the person who does graphic design for a job and is also the person who inspired me to learn and explore more about it. Christmas 2019, my parents gave me such a big gift in such a small package, a USB drive containing a video of my mother showing me a website she started for me which I would continue developing through the years. This is the website I'm speaking about! My mother taught me how to develop it and how to post inspirational blogs on the website which got me more interested in graphic design, and that is how I got into designing logos and websites!
My Maths Department's Logo
At Horizon Community College, my school had a competition for someone in the school to make the school's maths department's logo for their social media page and general use. I won the competition at school and now, every time I do a maths test, I see my logo on the paper!
The Cookie Girls
Some of my friends had an idea to make our own baking business about cookies and I told them I would take care of the logo, so I did. We didn't end up making this idea come true but I was still very happy and proud of the logo so I kept it!
Syd the Sealander
We had a Careers and Enterprise competition all around different schools and my group represented our school. We didn't end up winning after all but I was the one who designed the logo and I am very proud of it!
