‘Acting all my friends who don't do it think of it being some big SCARY thing ah ah ah.
But actually it's a lot less scary than not acting. With acting you always know what to do and what to say, you know how the story will end before you even begin it, And if you don't like the story, you don't have to be part of it. With acting you never have to lose your keys or fail the ........... test! You can pick the story where you never have to walk the dog or take the rubbish out or even FIGHT with your brother. The one where you WIN the lottery, discover a cure of illness or sing the solo after act one. You don't have to wonder if it's all turn out OK. So, my friends, I'm going to tell you now, no acting isn't hard, it's kind of.. everything else that's hard.’
That is a monologue I had to perform and I completely agree with it and love it. This is why I chose it. I loved it and I was the winner in my group.
